Bath Christmas markets

One of my favourite places to visit whilst being home has always been Bath. Only a twenty minute drive from Bristol, a last minute plan to visit the Christmas markets was definitely a good one.After being home and getting straight back into work, we were in need of a bit of Christmas. We are currently living and working on a farm in Gloucester and have been for the past six weeks (separate update post to follow). All of our focus has been primarily on the farm, so the Bath Christmas market was the perfect visit to feel more festive.It was a great chance to get some Christmas shopping done too, even if most of the purchases went straight into my mouth.

The iconic Bath Cathedral is beautiful and looked even more so alongside the Christmas tree. We arrived a little late to do so, but you can have a look around inside. I’ve been in so many times but I would of loved to of seen it with the Christmas decorations up. The drive up was enough to get us feeling more Christmasy, especially when you see houses like this one!Whilst I’m writing about Christmas… I just want to wish all of my subscribers a very merry one and a happy new year.   10. I sighed through the reading the entire blog post purely because I love Bath! Was there in January 2016 and it was breathtaking and this brought back so many memories. 🙂
